I'm very concerned about speed this game is developed. :( Every time I check in it seems to be in the same (pre alpha) phase.

Great ideas Zuikaku. I think we will use some of them in our game! :) Thank you, I'll put whatever idea I can think of and if you think something is worth implementing, then great for all of us ;) Monsters from other dimensions - they can appear on planets or fleets, they are impossible to fight of...

Will ships have crew, at least as just an information? It just feels emty when there is no number of crew members specified in the game. Crew can add another dimension to the game. How about monsters as energy life forms. intelligent clouds of energy that sometimes appear , follow ships (damage them by frying electronics) or enter planet atmosphere damaging buildings or disrupting production? How about something not very menacing but intiminidating, more or less passive but almost undestructable. Something like space monolyths from 2001 Space Odyssey. They are here, guarding something, sometimes damaging ships or preventing exploration or colonisation attempts :mrgreen:

Why not implementing pirates as some sort of mini faction or race. They are hostile to every faction they are near and they raid and destroy ships and colonies in range.
