next news will be either something like "sorry we got hacked, everything is gone. ciao guys" or

"we have great news, our game is now super duper crazy good. look at our brand new microtransaction mechanic. you can buy 5$ for a battleship quickconstruction, 15$ for a titan and 50$ for a doomstar"

I must say, when the things started to look bright and optimistic, suddenly having no facebook updates since 23 of May and devs twitters lack of postings since earlier dates, does not bode well.

I guess the super duper secret investor cut the money flow by some reason for this situation to arise.
Things look dire right now M.O.R.E. than when Marcin Bednarski worked solo on the project. :)

If you look at their discord channel; the number of MORE team members has reduced to 6. Both of the writers have been removed. I fear this may be the closest to the end of the line we have seen.

So the game is dead but the developers are not willing to admit it.

I had experienced the "release" of LoP.... An sad chapter/story of naughty promises and pre-Alpha Release....

I guess when something was breaking down M.O.R.E. then it will be the A.I./K.I. programming..... at least this was my biggest fear

Another fail:

Like MoD256 said - LoP was a game promised to be a breakthrough in 4X genre. Till the very last day it was advertised as a groundbreaking achievement in game dev and dthe deves were very active on the forums. Yet, when released it simply did not work - most of the mechanics was simply not implemented, like your ships could not go into hyperspace, ship weapons not working, not being able to build buildings on planets etc. Not to mention that the game crashed every 5 minutes (I only played like 15 :). Of course the deves simply vanished and did not respond to players questions.
The company that made this **** went bankrupt within a month so nothing was ever patched. Fortunately Steam reimbursed the purchase.

That's why I never pre-order anything. I say first you show me what you are selling then I will decide whether or not it is worth my money. In the end this game might have the same fate as Duke Nukem FOREVER.
